My Philosophy on a Perfect Restoration
A Perfect Restoration
Only a handful of people are capable of restoring a classic motorcycle or car to the way it came from the factory, or the way it could have come if it had some or all of the options on it. I have always been an advocate for restoring a car or bike to the way it came from the factory. One of the reasons that people tend to like the classic cars and bikes is because we all want to turn the clock back, just for a couple of hours, so that we can run down to the Chevrolet AND/or the Honda dealer and grab a 69 Camaro Z/28, fully loaded, then RUN over to Honda, grab a CBX, and on the way back to the time portal, stop over at Plymouth and grab a 71 Hemi Cuda.
Go ahead, jump in, buy a 750 Sandcast or 2 for $1700.00 ea.
You would have to stop by Yenko Chevrolet!
Bet there is a whole row of Cudas back there somewhere
Anyway, since we can't jump into any of these great pictures, the next best thing is to find that dream bike or car, and bring it back to the point that it would be if you could go back. That is how I have always restored my bikes and cars. I am obsessed with the details and finishes that the car originally had. As you can see in the projects that I have chronicled on this website, I have been successful at accomplishing that.
If you feel the same passion that I do in doing it right, contact me and I will discuss with you want it takes to fulfill the next best thing to going back in time, when ever that golden time is for you, and restoring that bike or car that you had back then, or always wanted but never got. I will even provide the service of helping you find it if you don't already have it.
My services are mainly for the ones that the single most important thing is to do it right rather than doing it cheaply or fast or half assed. To do it right, as if you DID go back and buy it out of the showroom, it is a methodical process that can't be rushed or compromised by cutting corners.
