Jack Oliver's 1983 CB1100F Restoration

This is a complete frame off restoration of a 1983 Honda CB1100F for Jack Oliver out of Texas. He contacted me and asked if I would restore his bike for him and I agreed after he told me the heart breaking story of going into a Honda dealer in 1983 and falling in love with a blue 1100F. He was going to buy it, but was shipped to Korea shortly after and did not return for 3 years, and of coarse, the 1100F was history by then. So, he wants the exact bike that he saw that day - brand new showroom condition - Well this one will be as close as you can possibly get to brand new. Like my red bike, shown on this web site, every nut, bolt, screw, washer, cable, and anything else that was still available thru Honda or eBay was replaced with new or like new, all the black powder coated, and everything else was reconditioned, polished, painted, or cleaned up to look like new.
